How to buy Mathmos Lava Lamps in the USA?

I've been reading this forum for the past two days. It seems the general concensus is that the Mathmos brand is the best bet for the larger lamps.

However after visiting their website it seems that they do not sell them to the USA as they are not listed on the USA/Canada site. They do appear on the UK page.

Can USA ppl still buy them from the company? How does this work?

Also if I can still get them from the UK site, which colors have ppl had the best luck with. I see they actually make the classic yellow liquid and red wax version which is what I've really been after.

I recently ordered an Astro in blue/blue from their site. The service has been great. Very personal. With the lamp and shipping, it cost me $120. These lamps look to be the best quality though. That, and it's novel to order something special like this from overseas.

Did you order from the Electric Planet site? How long did it take to get delivery? Was the lamp in good condition when you received it?

This is actually the email I got from Mathmos themselves:

"I am glad to hear you are interessted in our Lava lamps, but im sorry to say that the reason that our website doesn't sell to the US is because of copyright issues. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks Chris"

So a USA person can't get them direct from the company which is a pitty.

I just placed the order yesterday, so I have yet to receive it. I ordered from Electric Planet. Very good service thus far.
