Thanks for your response Bohdan! Yes we have an issue with decent flow. It takes hours to heat up then it kind of"sits" if you will around the bottom, small bits float around that's it. :)
Yeah some Giants are a little stubborn Make sure you have the 100 watt bulb. I went to home depot they have a better version duramax 100 watt bulb which burns a little hotter it helps shorten the run times.
I will hang on since I am in a colder climate, the colour of the clear fluid bothers me though. I have been careful with it ..not to shake it up any or move it hot but it still wants to turn a bit. Thanks Spencer for the comment :).
Good point. I did spend quite a bit of money on it brand new. So although it might be fun to re-build, I should really consider keeping it original. I do love this lamp. Thanks for the comment Dr. Also, I will go pick up a bulb socket extender..good Idea. And yes it's a 100 watt. Thanks again :)
Thanks Matt :)
Ya! It's funny how they have changed over the years, the quality has really diminished! Maybe I'll have to get me a Grande now ; ) Thanks.
Sweet Spencer...Thanks :)
