Looks like someone left the lamp on far too long and the result is a fried lamp. There is no easy fix here if at all and kits are not cheap and take skill and effort to complete. Have you looked at the light bulb- is it the right size? Try replacing it even if it still works. Do you have another Grande base you can test the globe on? Is the wax adhering to the coil when the lamps on as it should? Sometimes opening up the lamp and pulling the coil out and rinsing then drying before dropping it back in when the lamp is on and the wax is fully melted may also get the wax flowing again. It worked for me. One of my Grande globes would not flow so I dropped two coils in and the lamp fired right up and is even better than one coil in my opinion. More flowy action. As for the cloudy - it can only clear up if the lamp is running and even then it may never get to the clear stage. When I first started buying the Grande lamps I stressed a little wondering if the liquid would arrive clear when it was shipped. Sometimes yes and other times no and the ones that did not arrive clear some cleared and others had this haze I could not gid rid of no matter what I tried. Good luck. You can also buy liquid and glitter from a seller here on oozing goo. I think the Grandes look awesome with glitter instead of lava. Keep us posted about your restoring or correcting the process.
