Some questions about the site

How can I tell who is online like on the old site where you could see at the bottom ofthe main forum page?

I hear an occasional beep, like an instant message beep and I cannot figure out what it signifies. Is it something related to this site? I am not on my own computer, so I dont know if it is the computer or the site.

Some people that i have requested to ad as friends do not show on my friends requested list. Also there are some listed on there that I did not request. Why?

Hi. I don't know the anwsers to all your questions yet.
But to see who is online, simply click the members tag and below the names it will say if they are online.

As far as the friends, is it possible that the ones listed there that you did not initiate are people that have asked you to be a friend? Just wondering.

I did friend request to those who I was familiar with prior to this change. But two popped up on my requested list that I did not request. Not only that, but after I deleted one that I did not recognize they showed up in the list for those requesting me.
