Refiling a Mathmos fluidium

I was wondering if any of you had success refilling a fluidium using materials from astros? How did it turn?
I read on many places that the fluidium has a tendancy to produce bubbles and as a matter of fact the one I bought has plenty of them so I was hoping to use liquids and wax from astros to refill it.

Any insights?
