Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I found an old lamp globe and vase today in the basement closet I had forgotten about. I remember I had managed to break the screw on cap and spill about 70% of the fluid. So I just covered the top with plastic wrap and a rubber band and put it away until I was SURE I would fix it. Well its about 10yrs or so later and I want to try it. Blue wax/clear liquid. Where can I get a new screw on lid? Its about 1 3/4 in in diameter. As far as fluid..... (I wish distilled water and some salt would work.. but I know it won't be that easy). Someone lead me to a good thread in here......?
thanks..

(that pic is far larger than I wanted to send) sorry
