Tim. Glad you got one of the 50th series. They are spectacular!!! The Rainbow Grande is excellent too but it needed an included dimmer for the money.

New info on the “Rainbow Series” and more questions... from the 206? maybe the first of the Rainbow series?? Or is the 206 actually a 200? The Aztecs on the right say “model 205” with no “8” in front so I’m assuming 82–would have been the designation for the rest of the never-to-be Rainbow lamps (8201, 8202 etc...). Also 8200 is the same model # as the mid-70s Enchantress planter. I imagine such confusion may have hastened the decision to axe the Rainbow line prematurely.…

Aztec e tone, with "sun gold" lava in clear liquid. Another unknown-named model has the same painted finish in metallic red, and a darker orange lava has been seen, similar to the rare "pumpkin" color sold with Midnights in the late 80s.…

The rainbow Grandes came out around the same time as the heritage series Grandes. They stuck around for a few years and are still present on eBay periodically.
