Marcel, like many others described in the "Colossus lamps available!" thread, some of these lamps have no sweet spot. It's either too cold or too hot and always ends up in a stuck flow of blobs off the coils. The good flow in this picture only lasted a couple weeks at best before it went south. I got a replacement red/clear globe which has been very enjoyable and reliable. This globe is destined for a goo kit or glitter kit. It's disappointing because the purple/yellow is my favorite color combo.

I was in love too... Until the flow went bad. The red/clear still flows perfectly. This purple/yellow is crapola. If I had the money I'd turn it into a glitter Colossus with Kirk's glitter formula.
