Thanks Dr What. I recently moved and just today discovered that I already made one! I don't know where the hell my memory went... must be something in the lava. ;O)     I also have no clue how many I put in mine.

Dr What?!  Do you happen to recall how many sharpies you used for this? I just finally made one and used only 7 markers. Was that enough?

Very cool! The color of the base and goo match perfectly, like they could be the same material. Makes you think about a lava lamp differently.

Its a gookit with sharpie marker added. And the base was spray with a high gloss cc.

This lamp is perfect. I love it!  :O)

Is it a goo kit with added Sharpie ink or did you add the ink to a regular lava lamp?

And did you use a high gloss clear coat on the base or is that a satin finish?  Thanks.

thanks Wile! Really simple to do all you need is one of those rust removers that you put on the end of a drill and add some clear coat to it.
