This is my model 101 green/red Century. You can barely see the lava in it! It's hard to tell from the photo, but there is a slight green tinge to the liquid at the top. The wax is red, but a lighter red, almost coral looking. It runs on a 50W bulb. I don't think this lamp will clear up, so I might filter it. No indication of date anywhere. Came with an instruction/warranty card with a different Chicago address.

What is the intion behind putting half a globe full of DI water into it.
iIwould filter the whole thing a fue times then run it and see what it does
