Something Interesting About Me:: I love lava lamps!! Ever since I was a little girl, and my great grandma had one, I would beg to spend the night there, just so I could fall asleep watching it. That of course was when lava lamps were considered a luxury item, and not a lot of people had them. You couldn't buy them at wal-mart, that's for sure! I plan on making a hobby of buying and restoring them, so i thought I would join this group for some great tips!! We've increased our lamp total to 6, whoo hoo!! I've gotten my husband and sons to fall in love with them too. Every time we get a new one, my 14 year old says "Did you guys get ANOTHER one of those?!"

My First Lava Lamp was:: My mom bought one for my husband one few years ago. I really didn't get crazy in love with them until I got a second one at a garage sale and fixed it so it would work.....now we're hooked!!
