Unknown Fibre Optic Lamp

Hi everyone, haven't been on here for years :-) sold most of my collection, just have original Crestworth lamps, a few Mathmos and my Fibre Optics.Anyway, I recently purchased this Fibre Lamp. I remember them bring for sale in the late 90's in the Gadget Shop and they where quite expensive. Although it has plastic fibres it is a very full and beautiful lamp and uses a fan cooled ultra bright halogen lamp. Sadly the fan is quite noisy so I need to look at possibly lubricating it. "The dusty coating is a phosphor and is supposed to be there. As the plasma streamer runs over it, it causes the phosphor to glow."
