"Have picked up a new Telstar without a bottle so I can use the spare bottle with it. So it’s no longer available & will be putting this lamp back into use if not sold or traded by the end of the year. Probably won’t ever buy another…"
"I’ve picked up another spare bottle new with blue wax & water. This bottle is quite different as the wax doesn’t glow brightly like my other Mathmos lamps. The light just reflects off the bottom of the wax & I really enjoy using…"
"Was looking for parts to restore my first lava lamp that had stopped flowing & had a hard piece of wax at the top that never remelted. Found a second hand lamp online that was different to anything I’d seen & found one on eBay that…"
"What do all lava lamp manufactures have in common - the lack of worldwide shipping for all of their range.

Got a Carramar Volcano for $4 that came complete with original packaging that needed a replacement bulb while looking for parts for the first lava lamp I have ever owned. Which I got rid of, got the Volcano working & started collecting lava lamps. Which for me is a hobby & will hopefully not become an obsession. It took me just under 5 months of looking to get the standard colours in the 3 leg variety. I'd really love to get my own crown base 5 leg Volcano which I believe are rare & if lucky black but any colour is good. I've got a new Mathmos Glitterbaby boxed & unused that I'd be willing to trade or if you prefer cash. Have the funds waiting & have PayPal. Thanks for reading this & if you need help feel free to ask.
Where I Live:
My First Lava Lamp was:
A lava lamp with a ceramic dragon around the base & a smaller dragon on the cap. Which eventually got so old that some of the lava went hard & stopped flowing normally so I had to get rid of it.
My Collection Includes this many Lava Lamps:
There's occasionally more on the way so couldn't rightly say at the moment...
My Favorite Lava Lamp is:
The Carramar Volcano & ultimately the 5 leg (3rd generation/crown base) variety preferably in black!
Thanks for the advice Johnny :-) The lamp once belonged to my parents - both now passed away - so I really want to get hold of a replacement bottle because of the sentimental value the lamp holds for me.
