Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Some potentially exciting news from Mathmos!

They posted the image below on their Facebook page last night showing off their display at the Pretty Green store in London.

Has anyone else noticed the wall mounted Neo in the picture?

I emailed Mathmos to see if they were planning to put it into production and received this reply:

"Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Ah well spotted, we cannot say too much about it at this moment in time but a handy tip would be to sign up to our newsletter as any product launches for this month will be shown on there when they are available!"

Pretty cool, I told a friend a few weeks ago that lava lamp has the potential to come out with some cool new items including a wall mounted version. I can see the potential in a model like that.

All they had to do was to keep making it, lol

Very true and totally agreed but there are opportunities for them to reintroduce items like this. There is a market for these things I believe.

Oh there is definitely a market.  I would love to have something like this

Hell yeah, me to as I have limited surface space to display things.

I'm in for two! I just sent an inquiry to the customer service folks. I'll let y'all know what I hear.

Do you think if they are going to release this colour pink & blue. Are the wall neos going to be the same colours as the Pretty Green lamps?

I AM ALL-IN FOR A FEW OF THEM

I am in for the chance that I will never own one hahaha.

I like the new white and chrome! Reminds me of the Limited Edition Millenium Telstar. I'd hoped for some more new bottle colours though.

Has anyone tried putting a 30w bulb in a Neo to use with an Astro Baby bottle? I've just looked online and the bulbs do exist.

Or does anyone know whether the original 20w bulb puts out enough heat to work with normal Astro Baby bottles? I know that glitterbaby bottles work well on the Neo but they don't need much heat to operate.
