Its ok,I got through it was my No script program playing up. Its a nice lamp!
French boiler. I have a few. NOT worth that kind of money. The one pictured is a very common model. They usually go for cheap. The fancier boilers go for more though.
Yes, wait for another that costs less. This is a lavaboiler - colored oil coats bubbles which rocket to the top, bouncing off the indents in the glass. They pop at the surface, then the oil reforms into little globs which float back down. Hope to get one of these someday.
C'est magnifique! Might be worth the money if it comes with airfare to go pick it up...
Thanks for all the help and info folks! Sounds like quite an interesting contraption, and certainly looks very cool. Another lamp to add to the already long wish list - so many lamps, so little $ - sigh ;)
