As you probably know the stand comes in two parts which interlock. I can take some dimensions for you if you like.

Jerome
that would great thanks a lot,
Sorry for the delay but i'm currently clearing space in my room where there are lamps and packing them away for safekeeping (temporarily). Will get on to it asap
Krissy, once you have the size or template, a sign-making shop (think neon signs) may be able to make a base for you out of cut Plexiglas/Acrylic. If they have it, Lexan is even better - very, very strong stuff.
Hi Krissy, I've just seen your post and coincidentally I spoke to a local sign maker about this very subject a couple of days ago as I also have a Galaxy without a stand. I don't have a price yet but he is definitely prepared to do it. I had intended to design my own stand as I had intended it to fit on top of a mirrored column but I think the "proper" one would do that anyway. I do have one or two pictures so it is easy to see how it is constructed and to get a rough idea of the size but it would be good to have accurate dimensions and perhaps a scan of one of the pieces. I am sure there are likely to be economies in having more than one set cut at the same time. I wonder if anyone else out there is interested? When I have an accurate shape the guy will quote me for laser cutting them from clear Perspex, although he did say there are a wide range of colours too. I will also ask him about the availability of Lexan as another contributor recommends. I will keep an eye on this discussion and see if any dimensions turn up. Brian.
yes sounds great i will deffo want one or two of these

Any news on the dimensions? Was it Jerome who was intending to send them to you? Those are the things we need if I am to get accurate copies of the original made. Attached is the best photo I have, it came from an eBay item which was on sale a few months back. Regards, Brian.
I got my Galaxy today with it's feet and saw this thread so I am making "blue prints" .smile... of them and will be able to mail a pdf file by thursday or upload the file here upon the result of the pdf if it's viewable online or not
Here they are!
I draw their outsides on a paper and quoted some basic lengths. The only difference between the two of them is the position of the cut, it is simply mirrored on an horizontal axis.

Thanks so much for doing this. I packed my Galaxy's feet away and now having trouble locating them!
You're welcome Jerome! I'm pleased to give any help to all others lava fans!
Thanks for your help IdOrU 02. What kind of a file is a .rar file? My PC certainly wont open it, alas! Windows suggests it might be a WinAce compressed file. Is this so? If it is I will download the software and try to open it with that. Cheers.
