Good Afternoon
Hoping that someone could give me some advice as to how to fix my lamp. The wax stays up at the top. I have a 40 watt bulb and I ran it your over 4 hours with no luck. I would appreciate any input I could get as to how to fix this problem.

Obvious reasons for a century are:
is it under a window or any other airflow?
Is the heat shield in place ?? (Very important)
Are all the filament on the light bulb intact?
Are you in direct sunlight?
Have you witnessed go from room temp- to 125 deg? (i
Basically, have you witnessed to get hot allthe way through the tempature ranges untiloverheat stage set in
It should be noted that only the 1990s Century models have the heat shield.
