Are there 4 Category of problems???

I am trying to trim all problems into 4 causes. I have no Idea and with limited knowledge if this can be done.

1. To Hot. (Stops working after a short period or never stars)
2. To Cold. (Never starts)
3. Problem with coil. (Travels up the side not totally molten and eventually falls to bottom and stops)
4. Wore out. Refurbish. (Both liquid and wax)

Am I close or should more causes be added?

That is what I thought. I try to simplify everything and in most cases this can't be done.
