Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I thought I posted this thread last night, but I don't see it anywhere so I'll try again!

I have two 52oz Black/Clear cloudy lamps so I decided to experiment with the Epsom salt, surfactant, distilled water method.

Overall they work pretty well and are crystal clear but it seems that the balls of goo that float are larger than before....Does this mean I should add more surfactant?  I have noticed in other posts when people add too much of it they get a lot of smaller balls of goo....Overall I am pretty happy with the process and it was really easy!

The one funny thing is, having crystal clear water also shows the poor quality of the Chinese glass much better, the lamps definitely look better in a bright room than totally in the dark.

Well thats fine....but do you know the answer to my question???

I also thought about getting some of the fog machine liquid as a lady said that worked well...Google shops also sells propylene glycol but I can't find anywhere if that is what I need.....
