Circular shelves for Grandes and other larger lamps?

Hi all,

I'm intrigued by the idea of installing a glass circular shelf on my Grande's base, not unlike the "planters" that were built in to the bases of the old Enchantress lamps. I know there was a glassmaker on this site some time ago who did just that (I think he did it with all of his lamps too, not just the larger models) but I cannot seem to find the post where s/he shared how to make them. Does anyone have that post archived somewhere or could put me in touch with that user to see if this is a project s/he would be willing to do?

You can always call this place and they will cut anything you want to size.

They would not ship the Colossus table I bought from them due to size and weight.

I had to pick it up in person.

but They might ship a smaller one sized for a grande?

I believe the person you're talking about is bohdan. He's over at oozinglava.com. :) He used to be here also, but he isn't any more. I'm not sure what happened with that.

He did, he actually gave me one years ago. He used a stove top ring (that fit the grande perfectly) and then cut the pexiglass himself, I think using a dremel.
