Whoa! I had one of the 18" Soundwave Machines, and supposedly they had UV-reactive liquid, but mine didn't react at all. That thing is special!

...now if only they could make replacement Wave Machine vessels, I'd be in line to replace my Soundwave tube (or get it refilled).

Thank you.  :)

That's beautiful.

What exactly do you have left?  The base and an empty vessel?  What happened to the vessel that it is empty?  Looking to sell?

I have the base (somewhere) and an ewmpty vessel. The vessel got left in a hot attic for years (I had no idea it got packed there) and the liquid leaked around the plug and evaporated, I think. Unlike the regular models which had a clear plug in the underside near one end, the Soundwave vessel had a rubber plug in a hole in one end cap. I'll look and see what I have. If I've got it, I'll sell it. I may also have an extra Adriatic/16" base, too, since that vessel was also in the attic (it cracked around the plug - I have that vessel too, but one end cap is missing, one has a crack, and the plug is missing with a long, thin crack where it was).
Sadly, all I have left is a 16" model, but it's a rare bird, a test color that never saw full release: yellow wave with pink top liquid. The closest that was commonly sold was the later Blacklight Wave, which reversed those, pink on the bottom, and had both be UV-responsive.

Catalogs always said the Soundwave was UV-responsive, but mine wasn't at all. PM me and I'll let you know what I find.
