there are no cures that i am aware of, though some people have reported good results with increasing the temperature by using a 60w bulb. in this case, i don't think it will work. if the price is right, i'd buy it for everything else and then transplant the contents from another globe of your liking.
Wondering if a vacuum will reduce bubbles? Can tops be removed while lamps are hot & put back before cooling? That will produce a small vacuum.
That looks more like unmelted wax bits. If so you could try straining the wax with a fine mesh stainless steel strainer. Since the wax bits are not incorporated but the lamp is still flowing I suspect removing those bits won't affect the flow. I have had good results but no guarantee's!
