I have a Mediterranean-style Florence Art Co. "oil glitter," black w/ three scrolled legs. Simpler than the Lava Lite style. Mine has medium-blue liquid and there's about a 1" visible air gap, as though it's missing a tiny bit of liquid. The glitter flakes are unusually fine in this one but there's a lot of them. Flow is excellent, slow and easy as it should be. White cord w/ rotary switch. Brass cap on bottom is bright.
Would like to trade for the plain little-globe model, in any color.
I have a 2nd Mediterranean style, also. Cord has been spliced to a black cord, no switch, brass cap on bottom is darkened. Has a bit of paint loss around the leg rivets and on the outside of the upper scroll on one leg. Globe is the blue-purple color*, also with a 1" air gap, with big glitter shreds. Might add this to the trade if I can get two little-globe models. Wish I could get hold of a double little-globe model... The little-globe Florences are extremely special to me.
*Anyone with a few Florences has seen this color. When lit, it's dark blue at the bottom, and eases into even darker blue-purple near the top. Darker than the medium-blue.
Attached: An example of the Mediterranean style (not mine). Also, an example of the little-globe models, shown among Bryin's collection.
