Well, the exact percentages are their business secret :-)
But look at the given specific gravity / density: 2.504 at 18° C
That's very dense, Lavalamps are betweeen 1 and 1.1...

So you'll need lots of this salt, lots! You have to find out the exact amount - by trial & error...
(also depends on the kind of glitter you are going to use)

I have a lava GRANDE that takes forever to heat up, so I thought to change it into a glitter but I see that I´m gonna have to stick to lava....

^^ I have a grande that is currently all clean and waiting to be converted to glitter. I will go the KIRK route as opposed to trying to do it myself. You might want to consider getting a glitter kit from Kirk and saving yourself a lot of headache :)

Julian, if you watch some of kirks videos and look at some of his photos, he really is the right route to go. Especially for a grande due to the amount of fluid and glitter you will need. He has it down to a science and all his items are just beautiful!!

There are indeed two OG members who make glitter fills, Kirk and Loren. Both make wonderful stuff. Loren's is a fairly fast flow. Kirk makes a very fast one known as a "solvent glitter," and the very slow "oil glitter" type.
