Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Where should i put the liqiud in while i goo kit my lava lamp because the liqiud is great but the goo is literally fried you can see the burns in the goo. Couldn't see it until now because it is running on the proper bulb though it is a 75w halogen

Also i am talking about my Grande lamp

75w halogen isn't the proper bulb. @_@ Could be why it's fried.

And you don't want to use the liquid from a lavalite, or any other lamp, on a gookit. Save that liquid if you want, it might come in handy (I use plastic ocean spray cranberry juice jugs for that).

Gookits use distilled water, and clear dish soap...the purest you can find.

Or you can pay $15 for their clear dish soap.

Okay but i just bought the bulb today it was fried when we got it most likely can you give me the list of what you use

The right bulb is a 100watt reflector. and yes Loren is right!! I once tried LL liquid with a goo kit.....did not work lol. I found that a normal 100watt bulb ran my gookit grande great. also made the wax last longer. 100watt reflector is to much and burns the wax. but here's a link

I use light exports and they sent me the wrong bulb for it but it is a R20 120v just they only come in 75 for the highest wattage

75w is probably fine for a goo kit. You have to dim a 100w bulb or it gets too hot for a goo kit. Goo kits come with instructions and it has all of the information you need.

Okay thanks guys

I think i want to make a neon blue Grande lava lamp and also poor Grande its trying to run but having no luck because the goo just won't go very well its spiked but the goo just won't melt
