Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

i'm currently making a cow lamp, and i realized now that i don't have any black spray paint

i already have a couple of coats of high heat white on it, would i be able to use acrylic for the black parts? or should i just wait until tomorrow?

Maybe best to let it set all the way (white paint) and get the proper black spray paint. I don't have any experience painting acrylic by hand on lava bases, just on canvas, I might think if applied too thick and exposed to heat the paint may crackle down the road.
