Hi everyone, it's been some years since I was active. Much to my disappointment Magma Tower no longer seems to be selling Goo Kits, but a new company, Lava Lab Creations, seems to have recently filled the void. They also seem to offer a large array of parts (Even replacement screw caps!!!!) which has me quite excited.
Has anyone tried this new kit. If so how is the flow and how does it compare to the old Magma Tower kits? Pictures and videos are a huge bonus.
Best,
Kempton

Lava lab creations is awesome. So far every lamp I've refurbished with their goo is running like a champ. Flow is great my grandes have a very snake like release right up the middle and the flow rivals my 1990s lava lites only with less little beads of lava floating around the master fluid. My grandes don't kick on until noon so they reach full flow by the time I get home from work so I'll take some pics later. My 52 oz lamps also look amazing and they were both refurbished with lava lab creations goo kits
Thank You~!

This is the latest batch of lava lab creations wax. It flows incredibly well and gets flowing about an hour or 2 before my other grandes that are using the Chinese formula. The master fluid did cloud up on the first run and took about 2 weeks to turn crystal clear. This didn't happen gradually either, I came home one day after cycling the lamp for 2 weeks and Bam. My lamp was crystal clear. Also I've bombarded Claude with questions and he always answers them right away.
Yeah! Claude is awesome and has a great thing going. I’ve bought some replacement goo from him and he has given me good advice for a couple of problems I’ve had with other lamps. Highly recommend Lava Lab Creations!
I've loved the wax that I've received from Lava Lab Creations so far. I've ordered a little over 2 gallons; enough to refurbish the backlog of lamp bottles I have as well as create a few custom projects that I've been planning for quite some time now. Flow is very nice with beautiful ribbons/rivers of wax.
After a lot of anticipation I took the plunge and ordered from Claude recently. Here is the first project I restored yesterday, an Excalibur lamp. It's so impressive looking at the flow and clarity, I was mesmerized by the beauty for hours. Can't wait to complete other projects on my list.
I have two lamps that have ran for 4 hours a day since March. The wax has held up well and they flow well and remain clear.. This was some of the early wax. Did have to add some PG but was no big deal. Claude was also helpful with some questions along the way. I have bought more lamps that had questionable wax and fluid with the confidence I could replace it if necessary. Also nice knowing if you need a seal or other parts Claude has vetted them so you know the parts are going to work.
I have 2 grandes, a 32 oz., And three 52 oz. Globes running lava labs wax. The 2 grandes run all damn day every day with no problem. They are on dimmer switches obviously but otherwise they run about 14 hours a day. The other lamps I turn on around 4 pm and run them until about 8 or 9 pm but I have run them for 12 hours in one day with no problems. Ambient temp in my house is usually about 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
I've only been running my grandes all day for about 2 weeks now, prior to this I've been running them 9 hours a day but since the dimmer switches were installed I've been running them all day.
I just finished another grande using Lava Labs wax, surf, and green fluorescent dye. I am absolutely blown away by the flow and how mesmerizing and beautiful this lamp is. Below is a few pics and a link to my YouTube video of the lamp in full flow. I like to use 150 watt reptile black lights as a heat source for my UV grandes.
