Honestly they are in my laundry room ( the coldest room of my house on towels in case they break ) I am afraid to mess with them too much but the caps appear to be intact ( see my photos ) I actually got tears in my eyes when I pulled them out
The water level doesn't actually look much higher than it would be with the lamps running, plus the cold temperature will reduce the pressure of the air pocket somewhat. I bet the lamps will be just fine once they warm up.
I also ordered a pink Grande last week and received it yesterday, and I can confirm the bulb is much closer to the globe and the globe has less wax. I don't know what I think of the wax level yet, since it hasn't started running, but I do wish the water level was about 5mm higher. The one downside to the new bulb placement (which I think is far outweighed by better heating time) is that it doesn't light the pinholes quite as well. Overall, the lamp looks great so far, and I'm quite happy with it. (I might ask for a new base for my Green grande, though.)
Yikes!
I had Fedex hold mine for pickup as it's been in the single digits here!
Once they're flowing, the liquid level will be up to at least the bottom of the cap cover.

If the glass hasn't broken and the caps are intact, they will be fine once they come up to room temp.

I prefer the liquid level to go a bit higher than the bottom of the cap once the lamp is flowing. Unfortunately most of the Grandes I've seen only just reach the bottom of the cap.

umm the pressure will be much greater from the frozen 'expanding' water , ever put a bottle of soda pop in the freezer ?

As I understand it they are sealed when warm/hot so they're in a vacuum when cool.
I'm sure the globe will be OK, not sure about the formula though !
