i'm trying to make a blue/white and i can't quite get the color of the water to look like the LL blue. i'm using neon blue flood coloring, and the water looks great at the top of the globe, but becomes washed out as it gets closer to the light bulb. the LL water seems to be more uniform in color throughout the globe. does anyone know what LL uses to color the liquid in their lamps?

One thing I can tell you is that those neon colors are blended. The blue is more aqua. I have found that, even in the set of regular colors, the blue is a bit greened out. I use the ink from crayola markers. Those have the truest colors, I have found.
thanks for the tip, loren. by chance, did you use blue crayola marker for the lamp on the left in this picture?

THAT is the color blue i'm looking for.
would you mind outlining how you remove the ink from the marker?
