Have you properly coated the globe with SURFactant before adding the wax?
Heard ppl saying they were using brake cleaner or even gasoline to clean the globes to totally remove any residue from sides of globe to keep lava from sticking..sounds good to me. Of course, once cleaned with said cleaners, be sure to wash with soap and good rinse and dry post total clean up effort. Keep us up to date on progress and let us know..thanks.
MaGoo...
That's probably not a good idea..:) and unnecessary
Dawn (in USA) or a good commercial degreasing soap is best to clean globes

Hell Claude I would light it on fire if it was giving me that much trouble..just saying! :P Was just passing on what someone posted from an earlier post and worked for them..I am not afraid of gasoline... :)
P.S. Do not attempt this at home..if you do, you are on your own.. for educational purposes only!***
Agreed

Like, using Epson salt

I see that I forgot to mention that this was a Magma Tower kit. Yes, I cleaned the bottle several times, but I will try again. The blob just stays at the top even when off. But there are some small blobs of wax sticking to the sides. I have also tried using a dimmer just in case there is too much heat and no change.
I appreciate your help!
you might have gotten a batch they made right before they closed the doors that were almost useless.
Try putting the wax back into the pan of water (without master fluid) and reheat it.
Let it heat for a while on a simmer to make sure all the bubbles come out.
Turn off heat and walk away to let completely cool
If that doesn't work, you are going to need to add PERC to it to sink it
