Major Problem Help Urgent!!!

I replaced the liquid in my small lamp from another lamp, and now the goo just sits at the top in a ball and never falls down. is it heating up too much????? what should i do?? should i also replace the goo?

i don't have the original liquid anymore.

i was able to restore the lamp. i removed the neon yellow wax which wasn't working well with the liquid and placed the red wax in with it. now it flows as it should. so basically i took everything in my other lamp and put into my small one. it is purple liquid red goo now with a silver base. :)

sorry i forgot to add that i kept some of the purple liquid in a jar and tossed the bottle.
