Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Can't remember the last time I saw one of these for sale: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Crestworth-Mathmos-Jupiter-Colour-Changi...

The stand is quite nice too!

A good example, by all appearances....

I can't remember seeing any on sale for a couple of years, either.

It's surprising how scarce they are, given the number of Galaxy lamps that regularly appear, yet Galaxies were made a lot earlier, albeit in greater numbers.

It must be that Mathmos only made a few, for some reason

They weren't cheap, as I recall, but then nor was the Lunar, which was sold at more or less the same time.

This was the first lamp I ever bought - new!

Sold at a great price too

Would had loved to add that to my mathmos collection

Had I known this was for sale I would have gladly paid more.  Thanks for posting.  I had no idea this lamp existed and it's in fine condition.  Just look at that perfect spray.  OM-TRIPPPLE- GGG!!!
