HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO RESTORE!WAX AND SPRING FLOAT UP WHEN I SLOWLY ADD WATER BEFORE ANY SALT SOLUTION,CANT GET WAX TO GET BACK DOWN EVEN WHEN MELTED?WRONG CANDLE WAX OR WHAT?

I see you've already added a discussion, Tommyray!   I just saw this.   Are you using candle wax or wax from another lamp?  Joanne makes lovely lamps with candle wax, and has discussed it before.   Let me find the thread for you to read.  Be right back.....

Hey there ! you cant just use wax alone , it floats in water . You need to add something to it to make it heavier . do a search on here for " retro formula" and read everything you can find !  I use PERC in my wax to make it  ' heavier' . If you do the reading you will find all the information to make your own stuff in a lava lamp . Warning it takes a LOT of patience !! and time . here is one i made and how i made it .
