Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

The bottle was cloudy and the aluminum was dull but I had a vision of how it could turn out. I poured out the fluid and filled up with new water two times. That was all it needed!! Strange. I was prepared to at least add dishwashingfluid and salt, but it worked without that! Then I took the lamp apart to polish all parts and now it looks like new :)

you just used plain water?

Yes. Plain tapwater. Strange!

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the lack of salt affect how the lava moves around the bottle?

Probably. But I don´t want to experiment with it now that it works so fine.
