Congratulations Simon, it may be expensive, but how many Living Jewel, mint in a box come these days?
PS: could you make a big and in focus picture of the instructions and post it in the gallery, I'm sure many owners like me would be interested to read it.
Thanks
Someone got a nice early Christmas present yesterday (Christmas eve) with a buy it now mint condition Mathmos Lunar with original box for £195 ($300). Happy Christmas for them.
($313) to be precise or 237 Euros. Yes it was a complete bargain.

Please see above. Yes, someone got themselves a bargain.
To quote the seller of the above: ''This is the Mathmos Lunar Rocket Lava Lamp. It is an impressive 85cm high and cant fail to catch the eye. It stands on an aluminium funky 3 legged rocket base with an aluminium nose cone. It is rare. This item is in mint condition. It comes with a 100watt bulb and dimmer switch to vary the amount of light emitted and heat provided to the lava inside. The lava glows red amongst a purple backdrop and begins to produce some fantastic shapes once warmed up. This item comes in its original box. Buyer needs to collect as the item is heavy and too risky to post.'' Winning bidder paid just £195. This is a very rare example as it is boxed in its original packaging and is pretty mint too. |
