Whoops, Marco, I lied (accidentally). That original one was re-listed at the same price, but now there's a similar one for 895.00 and another for 1000.00. OUCH
Lowered the price by a whopping 0.49; guess it's not as "RARE" and unusual as she assumed........

Dropped the price a "teeny bit" too, but now there is "another one" for $1000.00!!!
Took me a bit of time, Marco, but screen is now clean, or was, before I saw the second one....... ;-))
Reckon we ought to "pool" our money and buy it now that he/she's dropped the price a bit? Then we'll share back and forth.... ;-P
I gotta "great" deal for ya. I'll sell mine for $600 lol
Thought I would join in:

The nice side to those gumball machine lamps is that the spherical lava blobs actually look like gumballs floating around. I don't want one, but in the right space they'd be cool, say,up on a shelf in a candy store.
All, remember only to posted CLOSED eBay sales.
Also, let's please keep this thread on topic and save the back and forth chit chat for chat or another thread. Thanks!
Thanks Erin - I have been tempted to post a similar message as this thread has gone seriously off track.
This is not the thread to post what you consider "overpriced" lamps. This right here is the thread for you: http://oozinggoo.ning.com/forum/topics/contest-who-can-find-the-most. And I agree about the chit chat as well - that is why the site has a chat feature.

Agreed and thanks for posting the link to that thread.

On eBay France, a "fountain" type boiler with an animal inside, looks like an elk. In fountain types, air bubbles form and force liquid up a tube and out of small jets, forming a spray. Simple fountains have holes around the periphery of the upper pool, letting liquid flow back down; more complex models like this one have a separate return pipe. This appears to be the exact same one that sold some months ago, but there are more, bigger photos.
In my opinion, these animal fountains were a product of S. Vera, a producer in Cleremont-Ferrand, and I've seen another with pale gold liquid that's slightly different. S. Vera also made double fountains.
