THANKS, OOZING GOO FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND INTEREST OVER THE YEARS!
Mandatory post update is MANDATORY.
In addition to the modded lamps that I have been selling, I will soon be offering slow glitter in LOOSE form (not contained in one of my lamps)! A lot of you have been asking for a long time now. The glitter contained in that liquid can be ANY shape you choose, and many colors, including prismatic!
But for right now, you can design your perfect lamp in lava or glitter, at the following rates:
$40 per regular glitter
$45 for replacement color glitter
$50 for lava
$55 for Custom cut glitter in any shape
Post here or in a PM (you'll need to send me a friend invite first) with your color choices. Please also state whether you want a lava lamp or a glitter lamp. I also now offer replacement glitter in 14 colors! There is an additional charge of $5 per lamp for that, but the custom color combinations are almost limitless.
ALSO...I am finally taking orders for custom cut glitter! I can also do cut glitter in virtually ANY SHAPE, so let me know if you want something special! Higher rates apply if you need me to render your design from scratch, but not by much.
- I will make a mockup of the lamp that you requested if you would like, so that you can see it. Then, we'll both be sure we're on the same page, as far as what you want.
- This will be on a first-come, first-served basis, but orders requiring anodizing will have to be skipped temporarily. I hope to be able to mod several lamps in a day, so don't despair too much if you are down pretty far on the list!
- I have a set list of paint colors, but if you really want a color that is not listed, just tell me what color you want, whether you want matte, gloss, satin, metallic, satin, or fleckstone paint...I'll see if I can find it. I know that matte and metallic colors are harder to find in variety though, so be aware of that. I can also seal your glossy lamp with a matte sealer, if you like.
- Once you have made your final decisions, you can send payments to my paypal address. I will then begin work immediately on your order,
Please note - I STILL am not currently equipped to handle anodizing...only unpainted silver bases, and painted ones until then. If you want metallic blue, red, grey, gold, silver, bronze, amber, or black, and do not want to wait, I have metallic paint in those colors. Just state your desires in your post. :)
This order is a statement that you intend to buy, but I'm not a nazi. I understand that life sometimes throws curve balls at us all. Only, if you have to cancel, please do it as soon as you can, to decrease the chances that I've made your order already!

What are the bottle sizes for lava?
Metallic Royal Blue base
Sky Blue lava
Clear liquid
The bottles are all 32oz. :)
And thanks Carlos, I can actually go ahead with yours as soon as the goo kits arrive, as long as you don't mind metallic spray paint. If you want that anodized, it will take a little longer. Just let me know.
Green liquid, glitter, yellow gloss base.
I hope you like it when it's done! I still have to finish the base, and put it back together again.
Okay, I'd like to order a glitter lamp. For my first order, I just want to try one but as I said yesterday I'd like to see both a glitter with bright orange liquid and metallic orange base and cap, and a glitter with bright yellow liquid and metallic yellow base and cap to help me decide the color. I would like the bases and caps to be as glossy and shiny as possible, I like that. You can just draw these up and show me, right? You don't have to make them up first? I definitely just want one to see how it works. If I like it, I'll certainly order more.
I didn't realize you could make lava lamps too. I'd like some of these wax colors, they're great. What does the wax look like when it's lit and warmed up? Is it really active? I know this isn't the old Lava Lite formula wax, but just wondering if it does more than just cough up a few big poopy blobs at a time like some of those China wax lamps. I got a couple of those last year and was very disappointed by the lack of action.
OK, here goes! This is really hard - picking a color!!!
I'd like a GLITTER LAMP!
Liquid color: SKY BLUE
Base/cap color: METALLIC WHITE
Thanks! :)
I'm sorry that I'm missing some requests...I'm glad you posted here though. Hopefully I can keep up with everything a little better in here!
To answer your question GT, I will be able to anodize soon. If you want, I can seal your anodized lamp with a clear acrylic gloss medium...otherwise it will just be regular shiny colored metal.
As for the lava action, I have found that getting complete coverage on the coil is the key to great gookit lava flow. I was disappointed with the lamps I had kitted for a long time, until I realized that the coils had bare spots on them. once I fixed those, the flow was much better!
As far as that goes, I can definitely vouch for MT gookit lava. Plus you won't need to use a dimmer, because these 32oz lamps use a 30 watt bulb, rather than a 40 watt one. :)
Spray paint is fine.

That sounds great, as long as it compliments the shine of the metallic base and cap-anodized and sealed with clear acrylic gloss medium as you said. I've decided I would like the orange liquid/metallic orange base and cap glitter lamp. Both the picture above and the one you posted of the orange glitter/black base and cap convinced me. It's a really bright, appealing lamp color. Don't mean to make you go into a long explanation, but what's the difference between anodizing and not anodizing a base and cap?
