THANKS, OOZING GOO FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND INTEREST OVER THE YEARS!
Mandatory post update is MANDATORY.
In addition to the modded lamps that I have been selling, I will soon be offering slow glitter in LOOSE form (not contained in one of my lamps)! A lot of you have been asking for a long time now. The glitter contained in that liquid can be ANY shape you choose, and many colors, including prismatic!
But for right now, you can design your perfect lamp in lava or glitter, at the following rates:
$40 per regular glitter
$45 for replacement color glitter
$50 for lava
$55 for Custom cut glitter in any shape
Post here or in a PM (you'll need to send me a friend invite first) with your color choices. Please also state whether you want a lava lamp or a glitter lamp. I also now offer replacement glitter in 14 colors! There is an additional charge of $5 per lamp for that, but the custom color combinations are almost limitless.
ALSO...I am finally taking orders for custom cut glitter! I can also do cut glitter in virtually ANY SHAPE, so let me know if you want something special! Higher rates apply if you need me to render your design from scratch, but not by much.
- I will make a mockup of the lamp that you requested if you would like, so that you can see it. Then, we'll both be sure we're on the same page, as far as what you want.
- This will be on a first-come, first-served basis, but orders requiring anodizing will have to be skipped temporarily. I hope to be able to mod several lamps in a day, so don't despair too much if you are down pretty far on the list!
- I have a set list of paint colors, but if you really want a color that is not listed, just tell me what color you want, whether you want matte, gloss, satin, metallic, satin, or fleckstone paint...I'll see if I can find it. I know that matte and metallic colors are harder to find in variety though, so be aware of that. I can also seal your glossy lamp with a matte sealer, if you like.
- Once you have made your final decisions, you can send payments to my paypal address. I will then begin work immediately on your order,
Please note - I STILL am not currently equipped to handle anodizing...only unpainted silver bases, and painted ones until then. If you want metallic blue, red, grey, gold, silver, bronze, amber, or black, and do not want to wait, I have metallic paint in those colors. Just state your desires in your post. :)
This order is a statement that you intend to buy, but I'm not a nazi. I understand that life sometimes throws curve balls at us all. Only, if you have to cancel, please do it as soon as you can, to decrease the chances that I've made your order already!

Glad he's out Loren. Hope he continues to improve. (((hugs)))
What a huge relief, Loren! I'm so thankful for you, and for such great news about your Daddy. Hope he feels much better soon!
HUGS, HUGS, HUGS!!!! LOL
I feel better, but what the hell. I will still take all those. :p
And thank you!!
Aaaaaaaaaaand then things got crazy again. :(
Sorry everybody, I went AWOL for a bit while I sorted a few things out.
One or more of the glitters may be leeching out into the liquid, which shouldn't be happening...biggest suspects at this point are the red and purple, but I need to test some more to be sure.
if anybody has a globe that they feels is too tinty-looking, let me know, and I'll try and replace it, but I have to isolate which glitter is doing it, and find a decent alternative color.
So...a bit more testing is needed, but I haven't given up.
So please don't give up on me! :p
Loren, please read your email (if you haven't already), I sent you a picture.
Sigh...Libby has been having problems with her glitters. :( Erin as well. Worst part is, I don't know what is causing it, other than the replacement glitter. I was beginning to suspect that the iridescent yellow glitter is actually dissolving in the glitter fluid, but one of the lamps that just now started having problems is Libby's pink/orange glitter, which never had any yellow in it. :( What in the world could be causing this?? And WHY is it taking so long to happen? I've been running these lamps several times, for several hours to test them before they go out. There is never any problem! Other people aren't having any problems at first, but then later things change! I can't sell any more replacement glitters until I figure this out. :( The ones that I made "for myself" are all still working just fine...but for how long? When will they just randomly quit working, and why?
I also need to stop corking these lamps. I have no troubles most of the time, but occasionally these corks are popping, and that is not cool. I was told that a bottle capper wouldn't work for lava lamp globes, but Dr. What uses one, and it works great! I am going to just have to see if my globes can be capped this way...and potentially blow $20-$30 trying. :-/ I don't know what else to do, but these corks have GOT to go!
I am so sorry, to everybody that has had problems. I want you to know that I will not rest until everybody is happy, no matter what it takes!
I still have faith in these glitters...I will figure this out!
Loren, I have all faith in you and all your beautiful lamps, and am sure you'll figure out what is amiss with that new formula and/or glitter. Just remember that the original glitters you made are still going strong. My orange liquid/silver glitter, with the metallic amber base has no problems at all, I run it every day, and it's the first lamp I ever got from you. Hang in there, buddy, your lamps are gorgeous and all will work out!
The capper will work if it has something to grab on to. Ones like these are what I use. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Red-Baron-Bottle-Capper-with-Caps-/2712...
This lamp is an example of one that can be capped with a typical hand capper.
Otherwise you will need a bench capper.

Thanks, Miss E, I hope so! And thanks again to you, Autumn! I actually had one of the hand cappers, but the necks of these bottles are too short. But a bench capper would be perfect! When I looked for a bottle capper way back, the only mountable one I saw was very old and rusty looking...very rickety. I thought they had stopped making those, in favor of the handheld models. My lamp with the maple leaf glitter in it is still flowing great, with no staining of the water, or apparent damage to the glitter...let's hope it stays that way!
