The seller claims it to be Crestworth but that plug is pretty new. The stand is cool but would it have been an original stand or someone's custom creation?

looks like a blue/white Midnight on some sort of odd stand to me
seems to me i saw something like that for sale last week on the net. I don't remember where,,but it was something to do with not being able to knock the lamp over with this type stands.
It's an American-made Lava Lite with a screw top (so 80s or 90s) and a custom-made stand, from what I can tell.
I wasn't sure if the stand was a vintage stand of some sort. The lamp looks very recent and more recent than they are passing it off to be but I was interested if it was an uncommon or collectable stand. They want $50, down from $75 but I didn't want to contact them about the stand since they are saying the lamp is Crestworth which clearly isn't the case.
LOL the seller does not know what he is talking about, if your getting this thinking its a cretsworth then your getting ripped off
I don't know about the stand / table its on it looks like its the sellers own creation or a custom build of some sort.
Check out this web-sight and also OG for information about Crestworths http://www.imovatedesign.co.uk/astro/60shere.html
Yup, it's a 90s Midnight.Appears that it MIGHT be a screw-on cap! If it is, I'd put the value at $50. If it has a crimpewd bottle-cap, more like $15-20.
But the stand-- those were made for Spencer Gifts store displays. They were not sold. I'd LOVE to locate one. The stand is worth about $10 to me, but might be worth more or less to others.
