Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I just found this unusual lamp in completed listings on ebay. Did anybody else see it?

I've never seen anything like it before and the cap looks a lot like a MK2 & MK3 Astro so I thought it might be a Crestworth prototype.

I remember seeing a lamp just like this on EBay about 5 years ago. It intrigued me then as well as now. Definitely has Crestworth parts, unusual cap too. Possible Mistrolite base. I would have nabbed this but missed out for a second time:(

The dimensions on the Ebay listing cant be right?. 18" tall and 22" diameter?

friend got this few years back he had to refill it as the wax was dead

Wow, It's good to see more pictures of one. Does your friend still have it? I wonder how many there are in existence.

ive tried emailing and got a auto responce but nothing else imfo wise yet, his had the liquid wax like the princess/rocket lamp, the bottle is the size of the old pickle egg / onion jars that chip shops used to have on the counters

You're right. Think there was a small error there in the dimensions.

I guess the dimensions are correct.

Looks like a gallon sized pickle jar
