I know that, you know that, but apparently the seller doesn't know that. It would be an OK lamp for $5.00, but certainly not vintage or German made

Ya, I saw that frankenlamp a little while ago. About the only thing it is worth is a glitter transplant, but not at that price

Now I know why we have labels in our cars warning us that after we set cruise control on our cars, it's NOT ok to go to sleep. I can also understand now why hair dryers have very short cords and about 10 warning labels on them not to use them in the shower or bathtub.

Who would have thought. :P
