Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

One thing I thought I would add was I think I've found a replacement 'glitter' like Sata tinsel glitter. I'm a textile expert - knitting, crochet etc and we sometimes add Crystalina thread to the yarn to create an iridescent look.

The fine articial fibres come in a range of colours: I've bought a metallic hot orange for my trial. The threads can be trimmed to length, so hopefully shorter lengths could be lifted within the solution?? I'll let you know if I succeed with my slow glitter formula!

provided the formula you use is like the glyco type and not like the fast moving glitter it should be ok, as ive tried thin tinsel cut into lengh in then put into the fast movin glitter lamps and it swiffeled up into little balls, due to the chemicals

Aha! Right, thank you for that info Johnny!

Hi Liz how did you get on ? I need to replace my fibres also
