Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi does anyone know if or how a smart astro heater plate can be fixed in any way. The one I have gets warm but not hot enough to make the wax flow, the led part and on off switch both work fine it's just the heater. I understand mathmos do not fix them or make them anymore. As I bought this one second hand it's now my mission to fix it with any help.

Well its a surprise to me that they have discontinued the smart astro - TBH its no surprise as there were a lot of issues with it but i thought Mathmos was going in that direction anyway so would have keped it going

Regards to the heat plate - I really don't know much about it but unforanlty I think the only option to get it working is to find a replacement heat plate for it.
