Wanted - Hot Rock/Lite F/X stainless/metal base (not plastic)

Long story short, I purchased a new in the box hot rock / lite f/x lava lamp for glitter conversion as it was very cheap and new in the box. The cylinder globe is decently wide in diameter and has a nice gentle taper.

This particular model came with an all plastic base. Within 5 minutes of turning it on, the base melted. Thankfully I was in the room to catch it before it collapsed and either caught on fire or the bottle tilted and broke.

I noticed on ebay that later models come with a full metal base.

Would anyone happen to have an unwanted base or spare they are willing to part with?

The model number on the bottom of my base is 4643-X but I think this model refers to the plastic base version.

The bottle is around 3.5"in diameter.

There is one on ebay right now but I think $18.99 for a base plus shipping is a tad much, at least to me.

Right now, I am running the bottle on a 32oz lava lamp base with a small tin foil ring to help fill the gap. It works but it's not the right solution.
