Comment by Rick Gillespie on October 17, 2014 at 11:15pm: Carol, yes they have an inline switch like most other Lamps. They take the same bulb as the Wizards, (40w s11n). They are vertical in the Lamps like most Lamps instead of horizontal like the Wizard. They take regular 32oz globes.

Comment by Carol on October 17, 2014 at 10:54pm: Well, I don't own one either, but I was just commenting to Vox in chat 2nite that they should bring back some of the classics for a 50th anniversary!!! If they're not going to bring anything interesting out that's brand new, why not reinvent the wheel??!! Do the starships again, or the custom bases and globes. That would not only revamp the lava industry, but it would do well for Spencer's as a whole I'm sure. Since they cut back on their funky lighting, the customer clientele is way down. I think the return of some of the vintage lava's would do well for everyone all around. They brought back the Wizard, why not the Starship?
