reflector+foil and they are finally flowing 3hours later
thanks guys. i just put in some 45 watt R20 reflectors. hopefully it does the trick.
The reflector bulb may be worth trying. I had sluggish flow with my 52 ounce orange/black and used a 40 watt reflector based on advice from Bohdan. It was just what the lamp needed.
I LOVE the old century bases where the holes go all the way around like that! I've wanted to see a midnight like that for a while now!
I'm pretty sure mine did the same exact thing as yours tiff and I let it run 24 hours too. lol it just ballooned the whole time while on the century base . Do you have the metal heat rings that goes in the century bases?
60 watt with a dimmer. Holes in the base = heat loss. :(
okay so these just do not wanna flow good in these century bases. seems they arnt getting hot enough even with the foil. any thoughts?
had to make a sort of makeshift heat ring out of foil to get them flowing on these baces.
