oh that's a Excalibur its a floor lamp and that's just the top half of it in the pic.
no my bad i don't see any kind of cord still waking up. Really tall cap though.
huh?
hey the one to the left, has it got a light in each end?
I really like that lamp, Doc, and the surrounding lamps too! ;-)) I think I have seen similar ones on ebay, but was afraid if I got one, it would arrive in three or four broken pieces!!
Thanks! It was almost a total loss so I do not recommend trying to open one of these.
pretty nice doc. Hope to come across one someday.
lol
This is a smart move!
Happy accident.
Actually mine was exactly like Marcel's. I almost killed this lamp trying to take the cap off. The cap was like Marcel's and they are glued on as well as stuffed with a black foam insulation. The bottle itself does not have a opening. It comes to a glass point (like these do) so when I was drilling holes to get the cap off I broke the glass point off by accident. But by doing this I was able to dump the old lava and add a 52 clear purple LL globe to it. . The replacement cap I found off a small coffee thermos cap.
Sorry Marcel,
this is not the same one.
Yours is nice (and I saw it on ebay) but I like DrWhat's better because of the nice round cap.
For me this is the detail that make all the difference.
