I had forgotten I had this! It was in another folder. The SECOND known non-Lava-brochure photo of the Year One style Century. Semi-transparent lava, yep! One-piece satin copper base briefly turns straight just above the foot-less plastic tray. Take a careful look at the photo... Want evidence that Lava was still sending out '65 photos? The green/blue lamp is the same black-capped one as in the '67 Milway catalog; it's a different shot (the flow is different and there's a light background) and one of the two shots has been flipped horizontally! This shot shows the flow better. (Scope out those glasses at top left - they seem to have nude pin-up girls on them!)

If the did, I missed it and I want to see it! If there was, it isn't in the closed auctions of rare lamps thread - though there WAS a 101 (red/fluorescent green) in there, two-piece base faded to silver. The copper two (separate) piece bases tend to stay copper, but I don't know if the one-piece bases fade.
Maybe I am Hallucinating, but didn't someone just buy a one piece base like that in silver not too long ago on ebay?
I love that one-piece base! So cool.
Great piece of ' Lavarama ' ... I love seeing this kind of stuff.
