yeah I found it quite anoying that dimmers always have this orange light glowing so you always have the impression its not really switched off and also I hated it to have found the perfect setting and then you are forced to either loose the setting or pull the plug...so an on off switch was totally necessary in my opinion...also I tried to silence it a bit .

and yes on the perfectionis thing...sometimes its a burdon...you know...the first time I clear coated the base part of your lamp a stupid super small fly landed on it...and stuck...I was so angry at it :)

hehe did you know that my second name actually is tom? I am essembling the dimmer right now and I will let it dry out completely over the weekend coz it has 4-6 layers of clear coat which takes some time to be more than just barely touchable without leaving marks. when dry it should be quite resistant though as I chose a 2component clear coat as it is the glossiest I could get :) Landing is estimated by the end of the next week.

maybe a little explaination why it takes so long ;) I wasnt happy so I reworked the whole thing...now I'm happy :) will be sending it very shortly :) cant wait for you to get it !
