Comment by Carol on August 24, 2015 at 8:18am: I have to make an LL call to her myself.......worried about availability with this 50th Anniv. Grande once cooler weather comes. Was going to order it as soon as fall breaks and put it away until xmas eve for it's first fire up. I DO NOT think I will be capable of looking at that beauty in the box and waiting for the 1st launch. I'm bad like that. My lamps barely make it to the inside of the house from the mailbox before i'm tearing into them like a child at xmas to fire them up........yeah so, probably won't even wait until xmas...but that would really make the holiday, wouldn't it?? So maybe I'll do a heritage pink grande for xmas eve once I already have one to enjoy.....

Sparty, I'm so glad you are getting your new base....then you will have the perfect lava lamp!!!!

I swear, I think this stuff happens in the factory and they just stuff it in the box....

Believe me, I've tried, I ordered July 31 and I've been trying to get past it ever since. Have been trying to reach LL since then without any luck. Like I said I have sent an e-mail to Susan directly today (obviously she is not in the office today). If I don't hear anything I will call her.

Comment by Keith on August 23, 2015 at 6:04pm: I'm not as particular about everything being perfect as others are, but that is not acceptable condition for a new, full price, lamp. Give Susan a call, I'm sure she will take care of it for you.
